Dr. Kent L. McLeod gives special attention to the initial relief of pain and facilitation of the patient’s return to full body function. Dr. McLeod explores the causes of each patient’s health condition by evaluating their lifestyle and medical history in order to design an effective treatment plan. After recovery has been achieved, he works with his patients to pursue a lifestyle of wellness and injury prevention. Often, this includes incorporating a better exercise regime and nutritional guidelines to accommodate a patient’s changing lifestyle.

Dr. McLeod isn’t just a practitioner of chiropractic care, he’s an advocate! While growing up in Ontario, Canada, Dr. McLeod was very active in sports, especially in college, where he played on both the soccer and hockey teams. By putting his body through some of the most grueling training, he learned first-hand how chiropractic care and therapy enables one to perform at their best. He emphasizes chiropractic as a way of life, citing the combination of spinal adjustments, exercise, and good nutrition as the only way to be truly healthy and live life to its maximum potential.

On a first visit, Dr. McLeod will ask open-ended questions, in addition to reviewing a patient’s records, in order to obtain a thorough medical history. This is then followed by an orthopedic and neurological evaluation to discover the root of the patient’s painand physical limitations. Cutting edge computerized diagnostics may also be utilized to allow for patients to get a complete picture of their specific condition and understand the most efficient route toward a full recovery.

Dr. Stueland believes our health is among our most valuable possessions, which is why she strives to provide a natural, non-invasive health care that relies on the body’s ability to self-heal. Her goal is to improve the quality of life of her patients from initial pain relief to longterm comprehensive wellness care. Dr. Stueland enjoys working with patients of all ages, and tailors the method of treatment to meet the goals and needs of each patient.

The purpose of the first visit is to gain enough information to determine if chiropractic is the best option for the patient, and if so, the best plan for care. The visit will start with a consultation, examination, and computerized nervous system scans. All patients are unique; therefore an individualized treatment plan will be made for each patient depending on their condition and goal for care.

Many people seek chiropractic care with the initial goal of pain relief. During this initial stage of intensive care, Dr. Stueland will uncover the underlying causes of the health problem, suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible, offer ways patients can participate in their recovery, and explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care. Once the pain has decreased, she encourages her patients to work toward their highest level of health, which is why she offers to work with her patients to create an individualized wellness program. This program is designed to help move the patient in the direction of pro-active health care to create healthy habits and improve overall health. Whatever the goal, Dr. Stueland feels her job is to offer the finest chiropractic care possible, and it is always up to the patient to decide how much of it they want.
