The Arena Football League franchise inks three-year deal with the Bradley Center.

March 29, 2011 - The new ownership group of the Milwaukee Mustangs plans on being a long-term part of the vibrant Milwaukee sports community. The Mustangs have agreed to terms on a three-year lease with the Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the agreement ensures that the Mustangs, and the unique and exciting brand of football played in the Arena Football League, will be seen at the Bradley Center through the 2013 season.

“With a new name, strong new ownership, and talent on the field and in the front office, we look forward to three exciting and energy packed seasons of Mustangs football,” said Bradley Center President Steve Costello.

“Mustangs football is fun, family friendly, and affordable, making it a perfect complement to our other great sports teams and special event programming.”
Added Chris Rebholz, the new principle owner of the Mustangs: “We are thrilled to announce a long-term partnership arrangement with the Bradley Center. Providing our fans with the finest venue in all of Arena football is paramount to building an exciting game experience that keeps them coming back for more.”

The AFL is an 18-team league that features teams in major markets such as Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. AFL expansion is expected for the 2012 season.

The Mustangs return to the indoor gridiron on Monday night when they host the Philadelphia Soul at 6:30 p.m.
